Umm what have I been up to?

Im trying to be a contributing editor over at [link] but ive only contributed one article for now. Gonna hit up 2012 and do a video review. Thats what i was brought in for anyways, to do video review segments. Oh and podcasting but i havent been in one yet. Speaking of which,

Anthromedia is kinda on hold for now, i still have interest in doing a podcast about games and movies that do and dont have a furry interest, but my equipment is in a different town, and it doesn't appear anyone is badgering me to get the show going again so, as it slowly dies off, who knows. Anthropodcast.com itself KINDOF took off but it never reached a particular height of interest with as large a fanbase as expected, and while we appreciated every single listener who took the time to hear us crazies rant about an over-ranted about topic, were going to take a rest for a bit. Rest assured, Kit and I will think of something, at the very least.

I havent been doing much in the way of anything furry for projects, its mostly been self-development and keeping myself alive on this EI thing. Its funny, being on top-dollar EI should be like living on easy-street, until you realize the bills you had while ON your previous wage far out-weighs what im getting now.
Things will get better once i sign up for the Interest Free Programme for Student Loans, while on that they dont require you to pay a cent for 6 whole months! Im gonna need that >_> <_<
Again, Kit and I will think of something.

Art related stuff? I can still draw, but the art bug hasn't bit me lately. I've been waiting and waiting to get my tablet back, and what do i cook up? The Joker Club out of pure lulz and boredom. Well anyways..

My Xbox360 and my PS3 both have non-instantly-curable problems right now. Around the time i beat Uncharted 2 (2 days after release) and in the middle of Brutal Legend, the Blu-Ray Diode fried itself. So it can no longer play BD-Roms of any sort, but DVDs and CDs are still good. Either way its a $177 fix and shipped straight to Sony! Oh the money...
When i FINALLY got my Xbox360 back, it came with a problem or two. Not only did we treck our way back home without the recharge cord for the dead batter in my only wireless controller, but the battery itself doesnt hold a charge for longer than 30min-1h. On top of that the right bumper refuses to acknowledge being pressed quite a bit. And worse yet, my power-adapter box behemoth monstrosity thing is on the fritz and causes my 360 to red-ring whenever i plug it in (though other adapters work just fine). Unfortunately you cant buy this fucker anywhere and you have to order it from Microsoft, or Ebay, and theyre $40USD as it is base price, let alone S&H. The controllers are $60 each, and the batterys themselves are $15. Jesus christ! I just want to play Modern Warfare 2!

So i head a non-functional though still technically working Xbox360 with the only controller on the verge of being trash, and i have a PS3 that wont play anything released specifically for it.
So what about PC gaming? Nope. I have an iMac, though i can play Source games in Parallels running WinXP with only minor framerate issues on bare-bottom settings, it doesnt hold the same charm as not being afraid to plug in any PC game and knowing itll work on my PC Workstation. Which is now in storage. I another city. Along with my Mixerboard that was attached to it.


So ive been playing games on Facebook to get that competitive fix! agh...
None of these problems could have occured when i HAD money to fix it, NOOOO, it had to be when im dead fucking BROKE to do anything about em.
*sigh* Its weird being out of the loop... hence another reason why AnthroMedia is on personal hold on my end, missing equipment and insight.


Not gonna lie, times have been better.
